See Judith on Wednesday from 10:00 until noon at Best Friend Nutrition in Sequim!  Best Friend Nutrition is located in the Safeway Plaza on Washington Street.  Judith Bell’s “The Trainer is in…!” program is for dog owners needing on-the-spot, immediate advice about ferreting out the reasons for their dog’s unwanted behavior and how to lead their dog into correct behavior with positive and fun reward.  Dog owners will not need appointments for this no-charge service though a donation to animal rescue is encouraged.  Judith tells us that, “knowing why a dog does what he does really helps increase the likelihood of a pet owner’s success with any training program.  Helping make sure that your dog doesn’t jump up on guests or bark unncessarily is a good example of how I can assist in making sure life with your pooch is less stressful and more enjoyable for pets and their humans!”, she adds.For a small donation to the rescue group of the month, Judith will talk with you about your dog’s issues and help you come up with a plan to modify their behavior!

BeauJes Dog Training holds classes every Saturday morning at the Bainbridge Island Grange Hall on N. Madison Ave.  Our classes include Puppy Kindergarten, Adolescent Puppy, and Canine Good Citizen/Therapy Dog!  Please go to the Group Classes page for more detail on the classes.  You can also download the class application on this page.  Just fill it out and send it in with your tuition and we’ll reserve a spot for you and your pooch!

Let us help you get ready for the arrival of your little furry bundle of joy! Our new Kinderpuppy Package will get you and your household set up for the arrival of your new puppy. Then we’ll meet with you two more times to help you shape your puppy into a great little Canine Good Citizen!

The Kinderpuppy Package is made up of three separate sessions:

1 pre-arrival lesson covers: (60 minutes)

Bringing puppy home
First night
Bed/crate set up
Housetraining set up
What to buy
Food
Leashes/Collars

1 post arrival lesson (within 2 days of puppy’s arrival) covers: (60
minutes)

Start basic obedience (sit, down, come, loose leash walking)
Socializing basics
Children & Puppies
Puppy Problems – nipping, jumping, etc.

1 follow up private lesson in a week or two covers: (60 minutes)

More basic training (sit/down/stay, attention, etc.)
Discuss any problems – house training, barking, etc.
Nail clipping
Teeth brushing

The package for the 3 lessons is $275. If you can’t commit to all 3
lessons and want to have just one session at a time, the price is $100 for a 60
minutes lesson.

Private in-home training is tailored to the needs of the dog; great for puppy obedience training, addressing behavior concerns or teaching manners. Private lessons are $100 per hour.

Our group obedience classes are designed to teach owners how to train their dogs. We help owners understand how dogs think, learn and communicate and how to use that knowledge to have a polite, well-mannered dog. Our six week long training classes include Puppy Kindergarten, Adolescent Puppy, Canine Good Citizen & Therapy Dog, and the popular Tricks and Games class.
